The Foreign Press, Cramped Leisure

The Foreign Press gave me their submission just last night, and I'm quite excited about it; it perfectly captures their whiskey-soaked, tattered-copy-of-a-Charles Bukowski-poetry-anthology ragged goodness.  What I find so inspiring about TFP is that they embrace art in all its forms, and make it a priority in their lives, and it's given me more confidence to do so as well.  Andy's blog gives you a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about, with its combination of visual art, poetry, and political enthusiasms.  This is a band that played every night for years in Andy's small apartment at 17th & P in Northwest DC, with no real aspirations beyond just creating music; I'm flattered to release this great EP and help them be heard by others.
